Series of 18 cards
The artist printed out a photo of tree bark, then made two lighter copies, and hand drew tangles on each page using a black sharpie. Each page was cut into ATC-sized cards and decorated using various kinds of colored pencils. A pattern of the labyrinth path was drawn on the back of each card using a gold gel pen. A second card was attached with a brad, with the signature sticker on the back and the quote from Diogenes, the Cynic written in cursive on the front. Each card in the series of 18 was numbered using a gold gel pen. Tied to the brad on each card is a golden thread, symbolizing the story of Ariadne's unrequited love for Theseus. For the full, x-rated version about the imprisonment of the the Minotaur at the center of the Labyrinth, read "The Greek Myths," by Robert Graves.
