Artist Trading Cards for December 15, 2012

So here are the fronts of the little booklet I made of the "Transitions" poem. I made a chop using Lumina Air Dry Polymer Clay. Still in the learning curve but I liked how they turned out. I used some favorite Daniel Smith watercolors: Moonglow, Rich Green Gold, and Quinacridone Burnt Orange.

Gary Panter's Drawing Tips

Check out the great website, unbored.net. The Oct. 1, 2012, posting has a list of drawing tips from the underground comic artist, Gary Panter, still going strong and giving back. Note to Self: I've also added the tips to my links of interest so that when this Post gets buried, you will be able to find it again.

Artists in Transition: December 2012

Transitions

1
coming full circle
unfolding
gathering
standing still

2
daring to breathe
in between
thoughts
and
spaces

3
during the silence
of night
juxtaposed
memories

4
traveling light
no trains
to catch
nothing
to do

5
dating the page
pen poised
on the edge
of second sight

6
exploring
the colors
of age.
