This month's Artist Trading Card was made using inspiration from the book, "Bound" by Rachel Hazel, using her instructions for making the Turkish Map Fold on page 64. I made over 20 prototypes before settling on making a card using scrapbook paper. Inserts were folded so that all of the text is hidden inside the folded card and the card itself is locked by the cover and its outside label. This is a card that has to be seen in person so that you can unfold it and see how the parts fold up. An edition of 22 cards was made using various color combinations.
